He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imperio Galáctico FC reached it. In the 11thth minute of the game Jose Mateus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campana's Angelino Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honorato Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Angelino Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jose Mateus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Bernaldo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 20 played minutes, Campana's Rigoberto Nahia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermengildo Chaime came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Tomás Gamus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Chaime skillfully saved the ball. Angelino Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Mateus's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Jose Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Galáctico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Mateus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Mateus in the 42nd minute of play forced Campana's goalkeeper Angelino Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Imperio Galáctico FC's Jose Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Mateus to make the kick off. Ermegildo Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Bernaldo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Mateus in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Bernaldo saved Campana from getting behind. After 55 minutes, Jimeno Iztal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campana and the Imperio Galáctico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimeno Iztal kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Angelino Bernaldo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Melquiades Vistruario. In a very dangerous position, a player in Imperio Galáctico FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 71st minute, Octavio Orlanda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Angelino Bernaldo, passed just outside the right post. Hermengildo Chale might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Bernaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Chale ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute Octavio Orlanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Campana's Angelino Bernaldo got control of the ball when Hermengildo Chale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ermegildo Jakes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Angelino Bernaldo made a huge save. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Campana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basilio Raulo was slow to take the kick. During this time Imperio Galáctico FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Octavio Orlanda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Campana's Angelino Bernaldo did a great save. Angelino Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
