Milton Casco hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Banan having to interfere. Teobaldo Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes, Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Primitivo Panpili shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teobaldo Leizarraga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glorioso Vélez Sársfield reached it. 23 minutes into the game, Saturnino Peyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacay City Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glorioso Vélez Sársfield the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Chacay City Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Peyo to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's goalkeeper Remigiusz Banan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Peyo. Teobaldo Leizarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chacay City Fc's zone, Teobaldo Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Leizarraga came out of the goal and Teobaldo Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saul Fanuco kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Wilfredo Erasto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobaldo Leizarraga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiburcio Ilazki made a kick off. Aurelio Inocente charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Inocente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Teobaldo Egoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glorioso Vélez Sársfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Bizi during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Glorioso Vélez Sársfield getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Claudio Bizi hit a great ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 67th minute, but Teobaldo Leizarraga got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Chacay City Fc hanging dry this time. After a defensive mix-up in Chacay City Fc's zone, Teobaldo Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Leizarraga came out of the goal and Teobaldo Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Wilfredo Erasto rounded Chacay City Fc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. After 75 played minutes Chacay City Fc got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Ilazki. Teobaldo Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Leizarraga having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Egoi got free with Teobaldo Leizarraga in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Chacay City Fc booed when Glorioso Vélez Sársfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Erasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Maiorga took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remigiusz Banan. Remigiusz Banan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Thanks to some nice moves Teobaldo Egoi could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Teobaldo Leizarraga however easily saved by the left post. Teobaldo Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Leizarraga having to interfere. The Glorioso Vélez Sársfield players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chacay City Fc from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
