After having played for 12 minutes, Filiberto Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godofredo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Sanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Ruben Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Lizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Gonzo in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Man Red FC defense, Ruben Gonzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Lizer. The Man Red FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Lizer should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jaime Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Man Red FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Baldovino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Gartzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Arnulfo Lizar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebio Gartzea was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Arnulfo Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Lizer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Gonzo to make the kick off. Arnulfo Lizar came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eusebio Gartzea could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Johans during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Man Red FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Johans. Higinio Acosta, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benedicto Tibalt hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Ruben Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Ruben Gonzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Lizer. Man Red FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Gonzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Eusebio Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Baldovino in the 95th minute of play. Godofredo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
