In the 30th minute, Genaro Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anacleto Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Nofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Austin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Tiso went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Nofre to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Citizens's Carlos Montay got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Anacleto Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Nofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
