If Justo Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, L’ quipe Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Ereinotz came free, but Amador Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Inguma in the 27th minute of play. Amador Min showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Amador Min didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leones Cristianos F.C.. Amador Min showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Domiku, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Ariel Ereinotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Isaio got free with Amador Min in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amador Min was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Carlos Inguma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Inguma really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 66 minutes, Justo Tiso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the L’ quipe Soccer and the Leones Cristianos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabio Basajaun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leones Cristianos F.C.'s Pascual Tiadoro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amador Min but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Leones Cristianos F.C.'s zone, Nereo Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Basajaun came out of the goal and Nereo Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amador Min was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Carlos Inguma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The Leones Cristianos F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leones Cristianos F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
