Bernardino Lazcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Palben in the 17th minute of the match. Fabricio Mendiko's late challenge caught a Deportivo Union Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Mendiko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Fabricio Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Dimo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Tancredo in the 57th minute of play forced Buba FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Tancredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Bernardino Lazcano made a huge save. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Deportivo Union Central's Serafin Fiz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bernardino Lazcano. After a rather tough play, Buba FC's Fabricio Mendiko got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Buba FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emilio Quiroga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 95th minute Esteve Tancredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgardo Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the match, Buba FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Lazcano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Abilio. When the match was over Deportivo Union Central could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Buba FC throughout the match.
