Deportivo Fatiga Tandil's Eliseo Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atletico Tigre ..'s Flavio Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Nastasio in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Aristides Lugo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Cordarrol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Agustin Isaio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 16 minutes, Aristides Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Tigre ..'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Lugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Bernat in the 19th minute of play. Flavio Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Cordarrol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Lugo in the 27th minute of the match. If Mauro Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Fatiga Tandil's Fabian Cordarrol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Fatiga Tandil from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Fatiga Tandil's Mauro Maidana got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Alberto Raymond hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Fabian Cordarrol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Isaio went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Bernat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Club Atletico Tigre .. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aristides Lugo hit a great ball. Mauro Nastasio struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Flavio Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Fatiga Tandil. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Tigre ..'s Aristides Lugo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 79 played minutes Club Atletico Tigre .. got a freekick which was hit by Saul Barrionuevo. In the 82nd minute, Agustin Isaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Agustin Isaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Cordarrol was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 88th minute of the match Rene Bingen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Eliseo Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Fatiga Tandil's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Bernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavio Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Bernat in the 93rd minute of play.
