The goalkeeper, Cesar Steven, was totally fooled by Requelme's Mario Piorno, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ivan Videl kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Isidoro Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cesar Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Melquiades Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Gorosti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chachirita FC's Cesar Steven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Chachirita FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Cesar Steven managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Requelme's Nicolas Maurin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicolas Maurin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesar Steven having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Chachirita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Tavio came free, but Cesar Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chachirita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Eztebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Gorosti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Tavio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Gorosti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Eztebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Chachirita FC's Victoriano Marino got a free kick in the 67th minute. Nicolas Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cesar Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Videl hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Delmar Ubelteso fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Requelme's protests and gave Delmar Ubelteso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Delmar Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Requelme's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
