In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deluxe FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Hever, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Hever having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Guzman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Godfredo Janpier managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Deluxe FC's Rosendo Abechuco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teodosio Ostargi charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Ostargi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Hever was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carnerito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lorenzo Goyo was slow to take the kick. During this time Deluxe FC's players had a chance to rest. Lorenzo Goyo made a great header on Deluxe FC's corner, it was just that Carnerito's Godfredo Janpier managed to reach the ball for a save. Deluxe FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
