Gogo Bonadona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Orlando Baristo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Domingo Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Modesto Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurelia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Tristan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Baristo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MTD FC's Isaias Errolan got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Arnulfo Endura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Gogo Bonadona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Gogo Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aurelia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Bonadona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnulfo Endura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domingo Remigio came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the MTD FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Remigio couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Guifre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Baristo having to interfere. If Silvano Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Modesto Tristan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th play minute Isaias Errolan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnulfo Endura. 0-1. In the 57th minute, Leopoldo Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Endura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Remigio's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 65 played minutes MTD FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mogel. Aurelia FC's Gogo Bonadona got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Tristan charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Tristan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aurelia FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Modesto Tristan hit a great ball. Aaron Locaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orlando Baristo. MTD FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Gabriel Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gogo Bonadona struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Orlando Baristo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aurelia FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Tristan in the 94th minute of play forced MTD FC's goalkeeper Orlando Baristo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, MTD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Bonadona came free, but Orlando Baristo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The MTD FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MTD FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
