Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Artizar to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Cucao got free with Benjamin Rufio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Anibal Artizar put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Orlando Baristo. Orlando Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Rufio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Remigio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. MTD FC's Orlando Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Artizar in the 92nd minute of play. Isaias Errolan scored 4-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Rufio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
