Elvio Maldonado ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the game, Flavio Steven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Leo Tiadoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Siro Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Gartzen having to interfere. Hilario Mel got his second yellow card in the match during the 98th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Hilario Mel hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
