But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Txatxu couldn't finish the play. If Ivan Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Astor Txatxu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of C.A. LA BANDA's Victor Gorri. Victor Gorri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
