With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Rufo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Garikoitz saved Flaco from getting behind. Hipolito Hermelando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Hipolito Hermelando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patriaverdinegra's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Hermelando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Garikoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flaco's Fermin Modestio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Eloy Rufo made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Patriaverdinegra got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Hermelando. Eloy Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Severino Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Balendin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Justino Iago firmly grabbed it by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Flaco's Astor Txatxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Iago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Astor Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Justino Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Orlando Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Rufo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, Flaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Modestio to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Blas Asier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Garikoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Flaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Errapel to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Blas Asier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Flaco's Severino Garikoitz didn't even have to move. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
