Spectators: 5143 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abelardo Salvator kicked off to start the match. When Abelardo Salvator came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the C.A. LA BANDA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Salvator couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Victor Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to C.A. LA BANDA getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Abelardo Salvator hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Zorzal Criollo's Marcelino Cordareo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Gorri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Zorzal Criollo booed when C.A. LA BANDA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Salvator didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Zorzal Criollo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Sotero to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Zorzal Criollo got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Cordareo. Victor Gorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Cordareo in the 37th minute of play. Victor Gorri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Cordareo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Marcelino Cordareo made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Marcelino Cordareo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Gorri. 57 minutes into the match, Oscar Domingues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Gorri. C.A. LA BANDA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Domingues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Oscar Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C.A. LA BANDA's Abelardo Salvator got a free kick in the 66th minute. A collision led to C.A. LA BANDA getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Albano Galsino hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Domingues in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Gorri saved C.A. LA BANDA from getting behind. Oscar Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Gorri having to interfere. Marcelino Cordareo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Gorri. Victor Gorri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 95th minute Oscar Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Lázaro Tino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorzal Criollo's Honorio Fero got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A. LA BANDA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Zorzal Criollo had won, even though C.A. LA BANDA had held more of the ball.
