A collision led to Zorzal Criollo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Arturo Gonchan hit a great ball. Hipolito Hermelando's late challenge caught a Zorzal Criollo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Hermelando helped the player get up and apologised. Hipolito Hermelando hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, Patriaverdinegra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Palben to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match Salvador Corderun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Iago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oscar Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justino Iago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. If Eloy Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Rufo in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Patriaverdinegra's Eloy Rufo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zorzal Criollo's Oscar Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Cordareo in the 97th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
