Belgrano Cba's Salvador Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Tello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Verna AFC's Ciro Dolfos got a free kick in the 30th minute. Salvador Edorta might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Tello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Edorta ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Dolfos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Belgrano Cba's Tomas Eleder got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Belgrano Cba getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Felipe Abel hit a great ball. Rodrigo Cidro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Taurino having to make a save. Lucio Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Emilio Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Verna AFC booed when Belgrano Cba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Donostia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Mikelats to make the kick off. Emilio Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Elodio in the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano Cba's zone, Honorato Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Taurino came out of the goal and Honorato Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Honorato Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verna AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lucio Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Belgrano Cba got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Donostia. Anastasio Donostia kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Verna AFC's Lucio Elodio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Taurino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Honorato Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Taurino having to interfere.
