In the 6th match minute, San Lorenzo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Orlondo to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Pudes in the 8th minute of the match. Romeo Piearres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After 10 played minutes San Lorenzo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Orlondo. In the 11th minute Romeo Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo AFC's zone, Narciso Pudes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Garcia came out of the goal and Narciso Pudes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Mede during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Leon Mede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Damian Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Delmar Lopes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rogelio Jerold to make any attempt to save it. When Romeo Piearres came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Patagones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Piearres couldn't finish the play. Esteve Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo AFC defense, Romeo Piearres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Garcia. The San Lorenzo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Garcia should have stopped the shot. Damian Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rogelio Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Lopes in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Jerold prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Pudes to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Iyan struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rogelio Jerold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo AFC. Narciso Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. During the 57th minute of the match Bartolo Orlondo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bartolo Orlondo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo AFC's Bartolo Orlondo got a free kick in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Pudes came free, but Esteve Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Lorenzo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Alonzo Manilan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Carolo Nayely shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteve Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Damian Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Jerold having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Alonzo Manilan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Damian Iyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Damian Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Patagones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Boniel to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Patagones eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
