Arturo Gumaro's late challenge caught a Capucha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Gumaro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caligari FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Arturo Gumaro hit a great ball. Melquiades Guzman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Jokić having to interfere. Venancio Chesus charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venancio Chesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Capucha FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Chesus. Mario Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Jokić having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Caligari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Guzman came free, but Nikola Jokić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Capucha FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lucas Iraunkor hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Capucha FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Iraunkor. Simon Mendebal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 38th minute of the match Gervasio Medina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melquiades Guzman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marco Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Guzman having to interfere. Melquiades Guzman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Sayvion, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Guzman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fermin Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nikola Jokić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Anselmo Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Ayala in the 58th minute of play forced Capucha FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fermin Viator came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Capucha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Viator couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Caligari FC's zone, Mario Guzman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikola Jokić came out of the goal and Mario Guzman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Severo Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Capucha FC's Lucas Iraunkor got a free kick in the 76th minute. Marco Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Guzman having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Capucha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ayala came free, but Melquiades Guzman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Ranolfo's late challenge caught a Capucha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Sayvion got free with Melquiades Guzman in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90thth minute of the game Ismael Columbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capucha FC's Melquiades Guzman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melquiades Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Ayala in the 92nd minute of the match. Marco Ayala received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melquiades Guzman came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Ayala slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 94th minute. The Caligari FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
