Anselmo Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Alonso having to interfere. Flavio Loco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Loco in the 15th minute of play forced Gavilandia's goalkeeper Eleuterio Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Vigil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Genaro Dunixi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Amador Burni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Genaro Dunixi made a huge save. Amador Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anselmo Fidensio fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE's protests and gave Anselmo Fidensio a yellow card for diving instead. Anselmo Fidensio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SOFIA M.V. After recieving a nice pass, Gavilandia's Pablo Urti tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Amado Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Fidensio got in the 33rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eleuterio Alonso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE! The goalkeeper, Genaro Dunixi, was totally fooled by Gavilandia's Pablo Urti, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Diego Gamus hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Anselmo Fidensio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eleuterio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Loco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleuterio Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Fidensio in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Vigil to strike the kick off in the second half. Amado Vigil scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Dunixi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eleuterio Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Loco in the 56th minute of the match. Anselmo Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amado Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Flavio Loco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Diego Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavilandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Gamus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Dunixi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amado Vigil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Genaro Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gavilandia booed when SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Vigil came free, but Genaro Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE's Anselmo Fidensio got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselmo Fidensio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Alonso having to make a save. Flavio Loco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Alonso having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gavilandia could leave the field as winners, despite SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE having more of the ball for most of the match.
