Anselmo Fidensio charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Fidensio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Anselmo Fidensio hit a great ball. When Honorio Gizon came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ocean FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Gizon couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Nicasio Gipuzkoa in the 11th minute really tested Gualterio Espiridion's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ciro Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Elequemedo during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Vinicio Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Estevez struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Genaro Dunixi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ocean FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Estevez in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Dunixi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ocean FC's Ildefonso Ugutz got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Ocean FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Espiridion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Fidensio. When Ciro Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ocean FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Estevez couldn't finish the play. If Ciro Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Honorio Gizon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Estevez was the one to do the kick off. Gonzalo Kauldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Genaro Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Ocean FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Onofre. 60 minutes into the match, SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE's Anselmo Fidensio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Espiridion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Ocean FC's Freddy Manuelo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Freddy Manuelo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ocean FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Freddy Manuelo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 64 minutes into the game, one of Ocean FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 73 minutes into the match, Ocean FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Loco came free, but Gualterio Espiridion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Anselmo Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Fidensio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Espiridion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ocean FC's Gualterio Espiridion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Fidensio in the 80th minute of play. Genaro Dunixi made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ciro Estevez sent off a good shot on target. Leon Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Flavio Loco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute, Anselmo Fidensio made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Espiridion. Ocean FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE were victorious despite being under pressure from Ocean FC for much of the match.
