Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amado Vigil started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Amador Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Vigil in the 12th minute of play forced Ocean FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Espiridion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Diego Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Ocean FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Vigil came free, but Gualterio Espiridion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Honorio Gizon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ocean FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Gizon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Amador Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Gizon in the 23rd minute of play forced Gavilandia's goalkeeper Eleuterio Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Espiridion came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Gavilandia's Jorge Toro. But to his dismay, Jorge Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Vigil in the 31st minute of play forced Ocean FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Espiridion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Estevez in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eleuterio Alonso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ciro Estevez had several of the Gavilandia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Eleuterio Alonso as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gavilandia's goalkeeper Eleuterio Alonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gavilandia's Amado Vigil got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualterio Espiridion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Burni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Leon Onofre's late challenge caught a Gavilandia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Onofre helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ocean FC's Leon Onofre got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gualterio Espiridion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Espiridion was a little too slow when Amado Vigil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 2-2. With a little luck, Ocean FC's Gualterio Espiridion got control of the ball when Amador Burni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Urritz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 85 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eleuterio Alonso right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ciro Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ocean FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ocean FC's Gualterio Espiridion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ocean FC from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Urritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eleuterio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
