Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cirilo Goizeder got the match started through his kick off. After 8 minutes of play, Niupi FC's Dario Baristo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Weterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Niupi FC's goalkeeper Armando Dayam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cirilo Goizeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Niupi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Goizeder came free, but Armando Dayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Cirilo Goizeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MADDA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niupi FC the free kick. The supporters of Niupi FC booed when MADDA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Goizeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Baristo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Dionisio Weterio made a huge save. With a little luck, MADDA FC's Dionisio Weterio got control of the ball when Dario Baristo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dionisio Weterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Baristo in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, MADDA FC's Alejandro Milio got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Nestor Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Weterio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Nestor Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niupi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Gonsalve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Weterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niupi FC's Armando Dayam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Cheche in the 42nd minute of play. Dario Baristo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 46th match minute, MADDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Olayo to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Gonsalve to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Silvestre Onofre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Weterio skillfully saved the ball. If Nestor Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dario Baristo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Weterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Baristo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Dario Baristo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niupi FC's protests and gave Dario Baristo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Niupi FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dario Baristo hit a great ball. Cirilo Goizeder struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Armando Dayam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MADDA FC. Damaso Cheche might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Dayam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Cheche ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Niupi FC's zone, Damaso Cheche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Dayam came out of the goal and Damaso Cheche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MADDA FC's Dionisio Weterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Baristo in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Nestor Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, MADDA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Gonsalve came free, but Dionisio Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Goizeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Dayam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Goizeder in the 87th minute of play. Cirilo Goizeder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Dayam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
