If Justino Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Ondino having to interfere. When Justino Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Marzala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Malvin couldn't finish the play. Flavio Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Marzala's zone, Generoso Santxol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Urdaspal came out of the goal and Generoso Santxol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marzala's Justino Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Malvin took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Ondino. Flavio Ondino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justino Malvin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Marzala's Justino Malvin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Marzala's Adolfo Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Ferman in the 60th minute of play. Flavio Ondino came out of the goal and Inocencio Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pirata FC's Flavio Ondino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Pirata FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Pirata FC's zone, Inocencio Osasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Ondino came out of the goal and Inocencio Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Ondino made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Inocencio Osasun sent off a good shot on target. If Generoso Santxol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Ondino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Osasun in the 86th minute. Generoso Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Urdaspal having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Esteban Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Urdaspal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marzala's Adolfo Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Santxol in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Marzala walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
