Pirata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 42nd minute of the match Florentino Herensuge completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Florentino Herensuge a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Abelardo Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Generoso Santxol struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jaime Amaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirata FC. In the 87th minute, one of Ahorason13:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ahorason13. Ahorason13's Jaime Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Ferman in the 99th minute of play. Jaime Amaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Ferman in the 102nd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pirata FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
