In the 12th minute, Pascual Guillen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Urdaspal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th match minute, Laprida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Matei to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Celso Xacintu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vito Meirelles skillfully saved the ball. Laprida's Vito Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Malvin in the 22nd minute of play. Adolfo Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Matei during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Laprida got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Matei. Bernabe Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Urdaspal having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Marzala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Ariando to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Urdaspal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Austin, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justino Malvin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Justino Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vito Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Guillen in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Marzala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Malvin to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match, Bernabe Austin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adolfo Urdaspal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 71stth minute of the game Bernabe Austin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marzala's Adolfo Urdaspal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justino Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Meirelles having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Unai in the 84th minute of play forced Laprida's goalkeeper Vito Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Laprida getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bernabe Austin hit a great ball. Jaime Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Adolfo Urdaspal made a huge save. Bernabe Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
