MADDA FC's Damaso Cheche got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Fanuco kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. MADDA FC's Dionisio Weterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Martino in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Ahogadoenrazón's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Goizeder came free, but Godofredo Ederono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Llanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dionisio Weterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Esteban Udalaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MADDA FC and the Ahogadoenrazón players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, MADDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. Juan Chayo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Chayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Ahogadoenrazón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Chayo to maneuver through the defense. If Damaso Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Martino was the one to do the kick off. Dionisio Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ahogadoenrazón booed when MADDA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, MADDA FC's Alejandro Milio got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Llanos in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Weterio saved MADDA FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Llanos in the 63rd minute of play forced MADDA FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ahogadoenrazón booed when MADDA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Felipe Lander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MADDA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahogadoenrazón the free kick. A collision led to MADDA FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Felipe Lander hit a great ball. After 76 minutes of play, Ahogadoenrazón's Eustaquio Martino made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Weterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dionisio Weterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Llanos in the 80th minute of the match. Nicasio Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahogadoenrazón's Victorino Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes MADDA FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Milio. MADDA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
