Marzala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahorason13 the free kick. A collision led to Marzala getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nicasio Unai hit a great ball. Ahorason13's Gogo Christobal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marzala. Leon Gaitano hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Marzala's Adolfo Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Fanuco in the 20th minute of play. Adolfo Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Fanuco in the 24th minute of play. If Humberto Innocenzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rogelio Fanuco came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ahorason13 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Fanuco couldn't finish the play. Pascual Guillen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jaime Amaya made a huge save. Ahorason13's Jaime Amaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ahorason13 from getting a goal against them. Pascual Guillen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jaime Amaya firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marzala reached it. Jaime Amaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Guillen in the 86th minute of the match. Florentino Herensuge's late challenge caught a Marzala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Herensuge helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Ahorason13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Herensuge to maneuver through the defense. If Justino Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
