The referee ignored A-BU-BA's protests and gave Inocencio Eladio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Inocencio Eladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Dayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Armando Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ceferino Ferman fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A-BU-BA's protests and gave Ceferino Ferman a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in A-BU-BA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Silvestre Raymundo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A-BU-BA's Elpidio Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Musko in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Cordairo got free with Armando Dayam in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nereo Behe managed to get in a good position for a shot. A-BU-BA's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Behe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Dayam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A-BU-BA's Hector Cordairo got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Dayam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Behe in the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Niupi FC's zone, Nereo Behe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Dayam came out of the goal and Nereo Behe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niupi FC's Armando Dayam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Behe in the 42nd minute of play. Hector Cordairo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Armando Dayam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Hector Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Musko during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Musko hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Behe in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Dayam saved Niupi FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in A-BU-BA's zone, Nestor Gonsalve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Nevada came out of the goal and Nestor Gonsalve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, A-BU-BA's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Gonsalve came free, but Elpidio Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Gonsalve's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Nevada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Niupi FC's Armando Dayam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Cordairo in the 74th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Niupi FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Oton. Segundo Sotil didn't quite understand what happened when in the 79 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Nestor Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85thth minute of the game Nestor Gonsalve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A-BU-BA's Elpidio Nevada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Baristo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elpidio Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
