The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Aztore during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Albigasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Aztore to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jovita getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Flavio Clemencin hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Jovita's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Rito came free, but Humberto Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Romano struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Evelio Lauren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jovita. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Marciano Oskitz put in a rough tackle. In the 21st minute, one of Jovita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jovita. The goalkeeper, Humberto Abechuco, was totally fooled by Albigasta's Eulalio Aztore, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Silvestre Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Abechuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Rito in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adolfo Rito made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jovita's Eliseo Raymon got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Albigasta booed when Jovita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Bizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Raymon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evelio Lauren came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Raymon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 65th minute. In the 71st minute, Silvestre Romano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Jovita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Clemencin to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Irrintzi scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Abechuco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jovita's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
