Humberto Abechuco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Maule in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes Jovita got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Lamberto. Jovita's Humberto Abechuco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Jovita from getting a goal against them. Humberto Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Maule got free with Humberto Abechuco in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Es Gatorei Señorita's Roque Shantala ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Abechuco. Humberto Abechuco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Jovita booed when Es Gatorei Señorita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Severiano Raymundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino Maule came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Humberto Abechuco could save by the left post. Severiano Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Romano in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Es Gatorei Señorita's Roque Shantala in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jovita's goalie prevented a goal. In the 52nd match minute, Jovita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Oskitz to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Dolfo in the 56th minute of the match. Silvestre Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gaston Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Humberto Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Jovita's Ermegildo Dolfo in the 83rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Severiano Raymundo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Es Gatorei Señorita through an amazing save. In the 87th minute, Flavio Clemencin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Abechuco came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Es Gatorei Señorita's Gaston Goiz. But to his dismay, Gaston Goiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
