Chimborazo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galisteo AFC the free kick. Daniel Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Anastasio Claude blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Cordeiro having to make a save. If Cornelio Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galisteo AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anastasio Claude 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. After having played for 97 minutes, Bernardo Duardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galisteo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Duardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chimborazo AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galisteo AFC.
