If Venancio Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Galisteo AFC's zone, Adrian Jon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Cordeiro came out of the goal and Adrian Jon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Galisteo AFC's Felipe Policarpio got a free kick in the 20th minute. Fidel Urre's late challenge caught a Galisteo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Urre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Urre to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Policarpio during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Galisteo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Jon's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Adrian Jon took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Cordeiro. Daniel Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Daniel Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Urre, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Bernardo Duardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Poncio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Abarca to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Ariel Bittor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galisteo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo the free kick. After 60 played minutes Galisteo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Bittor. Galisteo AFC's Daniel Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Galisteo AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute Venancio Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Poncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Galisteo AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Sebastian Frascuelo hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Venancio Perico made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Poncio. San Lorenzo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Galisteo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Gaspard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Duardo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cornelio Poncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galisteo AFC. When Bernardo Duardo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Galisteo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Duardo couldn't finish the play. If Adrian Jon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galisteo AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Lorenzo for a fine match.
