Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Mauro Quilo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Quilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Colodrero got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Quilo. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo AFC's Esteban Reynardo got a free kick in the 8th minute. The long shot by Tiburcio Terciero in the 9th minute really tested Generoso Frechoso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Jonas Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Chimborazo AFC's Generoso Frechoso got control of the ball when Jonas Hanni tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Mauro Quilo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Adrio during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Colodrero booed when Chimborazo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Frechoso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Silverio Castel. Damian Tadzio struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Generoso Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colodrero. When Silverio Castel came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Colodrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Castel couldn't finish the play. Isaac Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damian Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Tadzio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Colodrero's zone, Anastasio Claude stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Ibon came out of the goal and Anastasio Claude tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Tadzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Generoso Frechoso made a huge save. In the 42nd match minute, Chimborazo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Havier to maneuver through the defense. Damian Tadzio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Frechoso having to make a save. The supporters of Colodrero booed when Chimborazo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Reynardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anastasio Claude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Tadzio was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Tadzio in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Frechoso saved Chimborazo AFC from getting behind. Anastasio Claude was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Chimborazo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Damian Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frechoso having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Chimborazo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Tadzio came free, but Generoso Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Chimborazo AFC's Anastasio Claude dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Damian Tadzio struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Generoso Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colodrero. Damian Tadzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Frechoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Claude in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Ibon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chimborazo AFC's Generoso Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Tadzio in the 77th minute of play. If Silverio Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Claude in the 80th minute of play forced Colodrero's goalkeeper Anastasio Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frechoso having to interfere. In the 90th minute Damian Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Leon Adrio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasio Ibon skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Damian Tadzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colodrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Tadzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Colodrero manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Chimborazo AFC to win.
