An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Aztore in the 26th minute of play forced Chinga FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Valiente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Aztore in the 28th minute of play. Leo Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Frechoso having to interfere. Leo Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Generoso Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Chinga FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Viviano. Anastasio Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo AFC's Esteban Reynardo got a free kick in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Chimborazo AFC's Anastasio Claude slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Valiente. That made the score 2-1 after 92 minutes of play. Abelardo Valiente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Aztore in the 98th minute. Chinga FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
