Generoso Frechoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zeledon Havier hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Anastasio Claude who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Byens Hold's Jose Tolino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Fabio Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byens Hold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Leobardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Benitez in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasio Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chimborazo AFC's Generoso Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Benitez in the 41st minute of play. Zeledon Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Gregorio Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byens Hold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Anastasio Claude made the kick off in the second half. Jose Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Aztore in the 55th minute of play forced Byens Hold's goalkeeper Jose Tolino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Aztore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Tolino having to interfere. Fabio Leobardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Generoso Frechoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jose Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Chimborazo AFC's goalkeeper Generoso Frechoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Leobardo. Chimborazo AFC's Generoso Frechoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Chimborazo AFC from getting a goal against them. Generoso Frechoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Leobardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 82 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chimborazo AFC's zone, Fabio Leobardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Frechoso came out of the goal and Fabio Leobardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Fabio Leobardo came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Generoso Frechoso could save by the left post. Jose Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Aztore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Byens Hold players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
