Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raimundo Firman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gualterio Jerrold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Cordarin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Esteban Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Arturo Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Raimundo Firman took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Astor Filipo to make any attempt to save it. Esteban Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Cordarin having to interfere. Aquilino Quiroga hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Epifanio Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th match minute, Modorra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Firman in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CESACO FC's zone, Humberto Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Cordarin came out of the goal and Humberto Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 49 minutes into the match, Modorra FC's Esteban Walme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Cordarin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, CESACO FC's Arturo Cordarin got control of the ball when Esteban Walme tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, CESACO FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Esteban Walme fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Astor Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Firman in the 58th minute of play. When Esteban Walme came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Modorra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Walme couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Jerrold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Modorra FC booed when CESACO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Arturo Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Peio charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Peio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CESACO FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Severo Peio hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Modorra FC's Sixto Quinto tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arturo Cordarin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Jerrold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Cordarin having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Gualterio Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Severo Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Peio got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Severo Peio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Modorra FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
