But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Loreto couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute Isidoro Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Botello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Enol in the 9th minute of play. Rene Mikelats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Enol in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to INFIERNO getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Miguel Bixintxo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Enol in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Mikelats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Bixintxo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, INFIERNO's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Enol came free, but Rene Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santi RW's Teofilo Valentine suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Santi RW booed when INFIERNO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Bixintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Enol in the 28th minute of play forced INFIERNO's goalkeeper Rene Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, INFIERNO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Bixintxo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Santi RW's Mauricio Lluis tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, INFIERNO's Aquiles Chan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, INFIERNO's Atilano Erlantz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Honorio Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Chan's late challenge caught a Santi RW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Chan helped the player get up and apologised. Aquiles Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Isidoro Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Botello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Botello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Enol was the one to do the kick off. Aldo Enol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rene Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Florencio Veto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santi RW's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INFIERNO the free kick. Florencio Veto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Honorio Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jorge Botello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Silvano Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, INFIERNO's goalkeeper Rene Mikelats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Enol. 73 minutes into the match, Santi RW's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Loreto came free, but Jorge Botello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Mero hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the game's 81st minute Santi RW's Mauricio Lluis took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Rene Mikelats and thus the score was 0-1. Jorge Botello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Honorio Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Isidoro Gartzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. INFIERNO's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Gartzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Botello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florencio Veto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Santi RW had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
