The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4 minutes into the game, Nicolas Furman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Santos Koldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santos Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Peru in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Nicolas Furman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Peru scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santos Koldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 played minutes Fernández AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Galindo. Primitivo Costante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santos Koldo. Fernández AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Centinelas F.C's goalkeeper Filomeno Lop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Clodio in the 37th minute of play forced Centinelas F.C's goalkeeper Filomeno Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Furman struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Santos Koldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centinelas F.C. 40 minutes into the match, Celestino Peru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Koldo. Fernández AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Peru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 46 minutes into the match, Fernández AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Peru came free, but Santos Koldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Bidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Santos Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fernández AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Centinelas F.C were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Clodio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Fernández AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Abajas to maneuver through the defense. Santos Koldo had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nicolas Furman from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Santos Koldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicolas Furman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Centinelas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Costante to maneuver through the defense. If Jeremias Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Koldo came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Centinelas F.C's Celestino Peru. But to his dismay, Celestino Peru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 70th minute, Nicolas Furman made a precise shot to the right of Santos Koldo. Fernández AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Edelmiro Sanduru charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Sanduru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fernández AFC booed when Centinelas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Centinelas F.C's Primitivo Costante tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Celestino Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Clodio in the 91st minute of play. Gaston Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Centinelas F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
