Xeneize's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Aurelio Berdaitz scored to the left of an out of position Sergio Lia, making the score, 2-0. The tension between the Xeneize and the Lacai players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lacai booed when Xeneize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Nicholas to strike the kick off in the second half. Silverio Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Nicholas in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Lacai's Aurelio Berdaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Lia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Segundo Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute, Aurelio Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Xeneize's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Berdaitz came free, but Sergio Lia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Nicholas in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Mendiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silverio Mendiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Segundo Nicholas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Mendiko was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The Lacai players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
