Pepones's Conrado Satordi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Haitz to make the kick off. A collision led to Pepones getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Esteve Mosen hit a great ball. Arnulfo Gonzales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Bartoli having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Federico Haitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Bartoli. That made the score 1-1 in the 55 minute of play. After 59 played minutes Pepones got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Manex. In the 65th minute, Conrado Satordi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arnulfo Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pepones's Esteve Mosen got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ulises Bieito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Hotz in the 73rd minute of play. Siro Orlondo's late challenge caught a Pepones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Orlondo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Altetico Arcangel getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Siro Orlondo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Altetico Arcangel's zone, Conrado Satordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Bieito came out of the goal and Conrado Satordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Bieito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Manex, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Club Altetico Arcangel's Ulises Bieito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Manex in the 89th minute of play. Nunez Eriz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Eriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pepones getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Nunez Eriz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pepones's Conrado Satordi got a free kick in the 94th minute. Conrado Satordi was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Pepones's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal.
