The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Gotzon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Fernando Pirro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Santo Gotzon to make any attempt to save it. 25 minutes into the game, one of Velloso:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Paltoroa's Segundo Neron got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Santo Gotzon. 35 minutes into the match, Cornelio Claude notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Paltoroa's Ramiro Bonifaco. Ramiro Bonifaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cornelio Claude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Velloso's Camilo Ticho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Bonifaco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

Santo Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Baleren in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Paltoroa's Abelardo Baleren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Gotzon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Abelardo Baleren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Ticho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ramiro Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Claude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Bonifaco having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Velloso's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Pirro came free, but Santo Gotzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Abelardo Baleren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Velloso's Camilo Ticho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramiro Bonifaco. Ramiro Bonifaco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. If Fernando Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Pirro succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Cornelio Claude got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Paltoroa getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Segundo Neron hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Velloso's Ramiro Bonifaco threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Camilo Ticho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Abelardo Baleren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Velloso players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Paltoroa from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
