The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Silban in the 5th minute of play forced Camps's goalkeeper Pastor Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Blanco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Pastor Rey made a huge save. Godofredo Hegoi scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Gartzea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Godofredo Hegoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pastor Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Martxel hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Augusto Silban struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Pastor Rey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapones De Punta. 1-2 became the score in the 31st minute when Augusto Silban elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aurelio Canor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ivan Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Felo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Fabian Martxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godofredo Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Gartzea having to interfere. In the 46th minute Godofredo Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tapones De Punta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Camps were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Hegoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Felo might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Gartzea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Felo ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso Blanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Camps's Severino Jurgi got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Augusto Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Camps getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gavino Sanchez hit a great ball. Pastor Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Blanco's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Felo got free with Ivan Gartzea in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Jeremias Mannie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Felo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ivan Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Rey having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Silban in the 94th minute of play forced Camps's goalkeeper Pastor Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tapones De Punta's Alfonso Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Camps players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
