After a defensive mix-up in Tapones De Punta's zone, Norberto Patrido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Gartzea came out of the goal and Norberto Patrido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The wind increased when Augusto Silban made the kick off in the second half. Augusto Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jacobo Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Veronica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ivan Gartzea made a huge save. After 75 minutes, Julio Eladio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapones De Punta and the Antonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Tapones De Punta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Eladio to maneuver through the defense. When Norberto Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Antonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Patrido couldn't finish the play. Norberto Patrido who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Ivan Gartzea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Isaac Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
