Gaston Cordarius was slow to take the kick. During this time Culo Sucio FC's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hernan Llanos sped through Malena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Primitivo Ascencio. Marcelino Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vasile Moți tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Vedillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Vasile Moți made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Maximiliano Bras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Llanos in the 31st minute of the match. Eugenio Todor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vasile Moți took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Cresitobalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Malena's Marcelino Vedillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vasile Moți. That made the score 1-1 after 35 minutes of play. Hernan Llanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Primitivo Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Culo Sucio FC's Alejo Erruki got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hernan Llanos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Primitivo Ascencio was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Vasile Moți took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Castulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Castulo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 66 minutes, Israel Sedeni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Culo Sucio FC and the Malena players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Israel Sedeni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Federico Castulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasile Moți saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Malena's protests and gave Pablo Cresitobalo a yellow card for diving instead. Pablo Cresitobalo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Hernan Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Malena's Pablo Cresitobalo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Culo Sucio FC's Hernan Llanos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasile Moți made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Vedillo in the 78th minute of play. Vasile Moți was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vasile Moți showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Castulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Culo Sucio FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
