Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Federico Castulo started the match with the kick off. Pastor Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Castulo in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Hegoi in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primitivo Ascencio saved Malena from getting behind. After 12 minutes of play, Malena's Marcelino Vedillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Rey was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the game, Ruben Caetano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malena the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Camps:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malena:s goal. The referee gave Malena a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lisandro Txema, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Camps's Pastor Rey. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Camps's zone, Federico Castulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Rey came out of the goal and Federico Castulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Rey came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Malena's Federico Castulo. But to his dismay, Federico Castulo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th match minute, Malena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Hegoi in the 38th minute of play. Gerardo Felo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes Camps's Gerardo Felo stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Primitivo Ascencio stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Malena of the goal. 51 minutes into the match, Camps's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Castulo came free, but Pastor Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Hegoi was the one to do the kick off. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Malena's Lisandro Txema got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pastor Rey. The audience was convinced that Federico Castulo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Rey was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Marcelino Vedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Federico Castulo in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 68th minute, Marcelino Vedillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Castulo in the 70th minute of play forced Camps's goalkeeper Pastor Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Federico Castulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Felo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Primitivo Ascencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camps. Federico Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Rey having to interfere. Camps's Pastor Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Camps from getting a goal against them. When Federico Castulo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Malena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Castulo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Vedillo got free with Pastor Rey in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Malena played a much better game than Camps and deserved their victory. The Camps players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
