Spectators: 6911 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Federico Castulo started the match with the kick off. Malena's Marcelino Vedillo pulled a muscle in his leg after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 4 played minutes Tapones De Punta got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Jorrin. Federico Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute Federico Castulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Augusto Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Castulo in the 23rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Alfonso Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Castulo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ivan Gartzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malena. Alfonso Blanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Millan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Primitivo Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malena's Primitivo Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Blanco in the 46th minute of play. If Alfonso Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Augusto Silban made the kick off in the second half. Tapones De Punta were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Malena's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Romulo Diegotxe took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Jaime Ovando heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Primitivo Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Silban in the 60th minute of the match. Primitivo Ascencio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augusto Silban showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. After 65 played minutes Malena got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Cresitobalo. Augusto Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Ascencio having to interfere. Alfonso Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Castulo in the 77th minute of play. Tapones De Punta's Alfonso Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tapones De Punta's Ivan Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Castulo in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Malena's zone, Alfonso Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Ascencio came out of the goal and Alfonso Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Augusto Silban came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Tapones De Punta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Silban couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Castulo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Gartzea saved Tapones De Punta from getting behind. Tapones De Punta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
