Camilo Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Balendin in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, s.f la union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. If Bernardino Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Marcos Theobald notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ricardone's Feliberto Naldo. Feliberto Naldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Peyo was a little too slow when Mauro Justin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. If Marcos Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Pelagius's late challenge caught a s.f la union's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Pelagius helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Bernardino Pelagius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marcos Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot. s.f la union's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Theobald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Naldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes Ricardone got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Crispo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Theobald in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Naldo saved Ricardone from getting behind. Nereo Eli kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half s.f la union were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Justin to make the kick off. If Ciro Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Ricardone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardone's Feliberto Naldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ricardone from getting a goal against them. After 63 played minutes Ricardone got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Chus. Feliberto Naldo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by s.f la union's Tiburcio Salamon. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Salamon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Tiburcio Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Naldo having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game Mauro Justin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but s.f la union's Camilo Peyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prospero Tiso's late challenge caught a Ricardone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Tiso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to s.f la union getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Prospero Tiso hit a great ball. Marcos Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliberto Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ricardone getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Robustiano Crispo hit a great ball. The s.f la union players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
