The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, PERROQUE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Blai was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Jerardo during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Bernardino Jerardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Veronica in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, PERROQUE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Veronica came free, but Gualterio Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Jeremias Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Isaac Veronica reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gualterio Iturri. The goal made the score 1-0. Romeo Luke hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Isaac Veronica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antonia and the PERROQUE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Antonia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Isaac Veronica hit a great ball. When Antonia's Isaac Veronica in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PERROQUE FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gualterio Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Veronica in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Antonia's zone, Jeremias Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Izotz came out of the goal and Jeremias Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Veronica in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Iturri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norberto Patrido struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gualterio Iturri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antonia. In the 46th minute, Celso Oier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Norberto Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Antonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Patrido couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Isaac Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Iturri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gualterio Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Iturri having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Norberto Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Antonia got a corner. PERROQUE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anibal Blai ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Antonia's Anibal Blai to fire away a dangerous shot which Gualterio Iturri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute Norberto Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gualterio Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Moises Diagur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PERROQUE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antonia the free kick. Moises Diagur kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PERROQUE FC's zone, Norberto Patrido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Iturri came out of the goal and Norberto Patrido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, Norberto Patrido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gualterio Iturri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes, Jesus Pelagius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antonia and the PERROQUE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Antonia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PERROQUE FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jacobo Izotz, was totally fooled by PERROQUE FC's Bernardino Jerardo, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Norberto Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Antonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Patrido couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Patrido in the 95th minute of play forced PERROQUE FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Antonia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
