Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Godofredo Hegoi made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Camps's zone, Marcos Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Rey came out of the goal and Marcos Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Hegoi in the 13th minute of play forced s.f la union's goalkeeper Camilo Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Marcos Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot. s.f la union's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Theobald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Rey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godofredo Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Camilo Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. s.f la union's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Godofredo Hegoi 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Gerardo Felo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Peyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Martin Mergildo's late challenge caught a Camps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Mergildo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Camps booed when s.f la union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godofredo Hegoi spun around in front of the goal 41 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of s.f la union's goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Camps's Godofredo Hegoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Peyo. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiburcio Salamon to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiburcio Salamon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pastor Rey. That made the score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. Marcos Theobald's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Pastor Rey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tiburcio Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Rey having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Camps's Gavino Sanchez got a free kick in the 59th minute. s.f la union's Nereo Eli couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Camps. If Tiburcio Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Salamon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiburcio Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Camps getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aurelio Canor hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Camps's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcos Theobald fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Joachim during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, s.f la union's Nereo Joachim got a free kick in the 88th minute. Pastor Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Salamon in the 93rd minute of play. Tiburcio Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Rey having to interfere. The Camps players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
